A free event that is fun for the whole family and for those that think they have seen it all!



Come find out about how to keep your Venus Fly-Trap alive, and then stay to see the many incredible ways plants have learned to feed themselves insects and even small rodents.

It's hard to imagine a pitcher plant that can hold two gallons of water, or a plant that visitors will lean over to smell the "flowers" only to find out it is a leaf with jaws opened wide looking for victims.

Great fun mixed with education for the kids, and more exciting than any plant show you have ever thought of going to. Come see how these fascinating and beautiful plants can be grown in your home and garden.

Entering Plants:
Do you have plants to enter, or just want to help educate the public about carnivorous plants? We need your plants! They are what make the show. Please go to the How Do I Enter page for details.

Selling Plants:
Anyone can sell plants too. If you have plants to share but don't want to sell them you can donate them to the raffle. Contact Doris Quick at doris_q@pacbell.net to reserve table space.

Help Spreading the Word
Members, or anyone that wants to help - The 2010 Flyer designed by our very own Janet Amaro is ready. A high resolution version (7MB) is available for printing. We have been asking nurseries, pet stores, and any other place that makes sense to display. Put them up at work too. Anyone with kids is a prime candidate.
