LOWRIE SEED LIST ORDERS DUE SATURDAY, May 29

If you got a copy of the Lowrie seed list at the last meeting
and have not put your order together, you should do so quickly.
We need to have the orders in hand by Saturday, May 29th. This
means you should probably send it by May 26th, or the 27th.

We don't want to wait as seeds are in limited supply and when
they are gone, they are gone. Since the order can only be
placed to Australia via snail mail, and we have to do a fair
amount of organizing of the order, we need your help to get
the order completed in a timely fashion.

Remember, it is $3USD per seed packet. There will be no shipping
charges to you as the BACPS will cover shipping. By combining
the order the club is saving each member over $20 in shipping
and mailing expenses.

We recommend you have some seeds listed as substitutions as
Lowrie may be out of some of the seeds.

You will be able to pick up the seeds at the next meeting in
September. Unfortunately, we will not be able to deliver indivi-
dual orders before then. You will also be able to place another
order at that meeting.

For those that miss this order opportunity, we will be taking
orders at every meeting.

Place orders for seeds only. Lowrie is no longer accepting orders
for tubers or gemmae. We can not order live plants either.

We are sorry that we will not be able to get the seed catalog out
to those that were not able to attend the meeting. The catalog that
Allen Lowrie sent out is a low quality photocopy, like many collect-
able plant catalogs, and scanning it so as to be readable creates a
file of over 13MB. OCR proved to be so inaccurate that it takes
nearly an hour per page make it readable. We are working on a solu-
tion for the future.

Please send your order with a check payable to:

Joe Mazrimas (Joe is the BACPS Treasurer)
