ELECTION RESULTS
Larry Logoteta
On November 8, 2003, we held our Elections for President,
Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer with much success.
The members of BACPS voted and selected two new candidates for
President and Vice-President, Stephen Davis and Bill Baumgartl.
The other two officers stayed in their positions, Secretary,
Judith Finn, and Treasurer, Joe Mazrimas. I want to thank
Geoff for an outstanding job he has done for our club. I'm
sure we will continue to have the same outstanding job with our
newly elected officials.

WELCOME TO NEW OFFICERS
Geoff Wong
It is my pleasure to welcome the new officers for 2004.
Stephen Davis (President-Elect) has been an active member for
several years, bringing in beautifully displayed CP to the
meetings and, most recently, serving as one of the organizers
of the very successful Plant Show and Sale in August. Stephen
brings a lot of energy and new ideas to the position, which
should make for a stimulating 2004. Bill Baumgartl (VP-Elect),
past President of BACPS, has had extensive experience with
tissue culture and sophisticated growing setups, knowledge
which members can tap into. Judith Finn will continue as
Secretary with her thorough meeting minutes and, of course,
help us with arranging meetings at the Botanical Garden. Joe
Mazrimas also will be continuing in his position as Treasurer.
Joe is one of original founders of the International
Carnivorous Plant Society and has a wealth of history about CP
organizations in the US. We're looking forward to another
interesting year.
